Thank you for being so kind and gracious about things. You are so correct about this election: it is what Obama is calling, "The Silly Season", and many of us are showing ourselves. YOU keep me "in check" any ole time!

I DO OWE YOU A HUGE APOLOGY

I was not upset at you. I was upset at everybody on that thread, because no one failed to address the obvious bigotry that C.A. had displayed, and thus, was saying that it was A-OKAY. What a bunch of losers.

It would appear that attacking those with Muslim names is sport, and the sport in season these days; not so, but as long as people allow them to get away with it, people like him or her shall continue to do it.

There are Muslims (lots of them) on Gather who are offended by that kind of talk, but don't feel comfortable speaking out. You know they would be attacked, by virtue of being Muslim. The hatred still runs rampant, by WHAT have they done? Nothing. What crime is it to have a certain name? I don't see anyone being attacked with the last name of . . . say . . . Schultz, but Hitler certainly did plenty of damage.

So, I saw RED, RED, RED, and I was ready to attack any and everybody.
Again, I apologize and hope you'll accept my apology. I don't usually loose my cool like that; usually I laugh at that kind of STUPIDITY and SICKNESS, but there were a series of events that morning that pushed me to the LIMIT.

The Gather god, "Charles", who is someone that I am VERY fond of, and someone whom I believe is Jewish,
posts his middle name as "Hussein". I wonder if this "C.A." person realizes this, as IT goes around trying to promote and incite HATRED.

It's all so venomous, and I'm told that it's because Barack Obama is Black. I'll reserve judgment on that, since I am not privy to the same conversations that White people may have amongst themselves and cannot say for sure.

Again, I apologize most profusely.
